Wildlife Watching
Una delle esperienze più emozionanti che possiamo vivere in natura è sicuramente l’incontro con un animale selvatico.
Perché questo possa accadere è necessario comportarsi in un determinato modo e soprattutto avere molta fortuna.
Tuttavia, può rivelarsi interessante e soddisfacente anche imparare a riconoscere le tracce che segnalano la loro presenza o il loro passaggio.
Mi piace percorrere i sentieri in silenzio, con la speranza di incontrare un abitante del bosco e facendo attenzione ai segni che questo lascia dietro di sé: riconoscere le impronte impresse sul terreno da un cinghiale, i resti del cibo di uno scoiattolo, i buchi sul tronco di un albero scavati da un picchio verde, le penne blu di una ghiandaia e gli aculei persi da un istrice, il canto degli uccelli, l’abbaio del capriolo, il rutto del daino, il bramito del cervo e l’ululato del lupo.
Mi avvalgo della collaborazione con la guida ambientale escursionistica @PietroBartoliWildNature, specializzato in materia, per offrire a piccoli gruppi o privati la possibilità di conoscere la fauna di un determinato luogo e, grazie a specifici appostamenti, la possibilità di osservarne qualche esemplare con rispetto e gratitudine.

However, it can be just as interesting and rewarding to learn how to recognize the signs that reveal their presence or passage.
I enjoy walking the trails in silence, hoping to catch a glimpse of a forest inhabitant, while paying close attention to the traces it leaves behind:
recognizing the hoofprints of a wild boar in the soil, the remains of a squirrel’s meal, holes in a tree trunk carved by a green woodpecker, the blue feathers of a jay, quills lost by a porcupine, the songs of birds, the barking of a roe deer, the belching call of a fallow deer, the bellowing of a red deer, and the howl of a wolf.
I collaborate with Environmental Hiking Guide @PietroBartoliWildNature, who is specialized in this field, to offer small groups or private participants the opportunity to learn about the wildlife of a specific area and, through carefully planned observation points, the chance to respectfully and gratefully witness some of its magnificent creatures.
